"where stories begin"

Discover a NEW
THEATRE EXPERIENCE in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN where YOU become a pivotal part of the show!
Once upon a time, there was a space where stories came to life night after night. We invite you to join us as we return to those stories and imagine them in a way which unites us.
Stories from Greek Mythology to tales of Knights and Classical Folk Lore beckon us to a place where we find hope and laughter before we end our day.
What is the show like? Well, it's kind of hard to explain, but... Imagine a bit of improv like Who's Line is it Anyway?™ meets your favorite camp games, meets Drunk Shakespeare™ meets Medieval Times™ meets snuggling in a blanket fort while your favorite narrators reads your favorite childhood book.
Bedtime Stories Theatre™ is a thoughtfully curated show designed to evoke nostalgia and become a family tradition.
Meet the Storytellers

Dan Ambrose
Storyteller
Dan is a graduate of the Purdue Fort Wayne Dept. of Theatre, where he enjoyed a busy student career as a member of the Acting and Dance programs where he and his wife, Liane, met. They’ve enjoyed working in the Fort Wayne community and being able to join creative theatre endeavors whenever possible, especially recently.
Dan has appeared on stage and off at Three Rivers Music Theatre, last as David Berkowitz in the F. W. original musical, ‘Most Wanted,’ and Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in, ‘Anything Goes;’ also previously at TRMT, Dan portrayed Father Brendan Flynn in, ‘Doubt: A Parable’ and Bill Fordham in, ‘August: Osage County.’ Previous to that, after graduating college, he had the honor of achieving the most fulfilling roles of a lifetime, becoming a father to two of the greatest kids and being husband to his best friend.

Beth Kriner
herself
Beth may be making her Bedtime Stories debut, but she is certainly not new to performing or telling stories! Here in Fort Wayne, you may have seen her on the Civic Theater stage, where she has performed in White Christmas, Hello Dolly, 1776! All-Female Cast, and Mamma Mia. Originally from Pennsylvania, she has several credits from theaters on the east coast as well; a favorite being Rosalind in As You Like It.
She has also performed as an extra in several local commercials, independent music videos and film; as well as a featured model in the 2024 Major League Soccer store commercial, which streamed nationally across Apple TV and ESPN.
When not telling stories, Beth enjoys being outdoors with "her boys" (her husband and their two rescue dogs.) You can often find Beth scoring goals on the soccer field, teaching piano lessons by night, or spending time with her students at her church's youth group.

Jackson McKinney
himself
Jackson McKinney is a Fort Wayne native actor and performer! Jackson graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a BFA in Musical Theatre. When not performing, Jackson works at Arts United as a front of house staff member.
